Just days after Hamas’s brutal terrorist attacks on Israeli civilians, students around the country shocked observers with their condemnation of the state of Israel and full-throated support for Palestinians and Hamas. At Harvard, students wrote that they “hold the Israeli regime entirely responsible for all unfolding violence” and called for “a firm stand against colonial retaliation.” Student protesters around the country chanted, “From the river to the sea, Palestine will be free,” a call for the elimination of Israel.
The organization responsible for many such statements and protests is Students for Justice in Palestine (SJP), which describes itself as a national “student movement for the liberation of Palestine.” After continued protests and activism, some states and universities have taken the bold step of banning SJP organizations from campus.
In Florida, the chancellor of the state university system has called for all SJP chapters within the system to be “deactivated.” In a letter to State University System of Florida presidents, he cites the chapters’ “material support” of Hamas as the justification:

You can ban hate groups.
Who is funding these wannabe “student” savages? That’s the important question.
Students are supposed to be there to be educated in the degree they selected. If an insitution of learning allows disruptive activism of any type, the parents should pull their kid from the institution and never give them another penny.
I’m for justice in Palestine, but my idea of justice and whom it should favor would be different than theirs.
Read a true translation and you will see this has little to do with politics.
In our world what we call terrorism, in their world is just Muslims doing as the Holy Koran commands them.
Remember in one memorable scene, one of Scott's lines says it all: As Patton surveys the positive results of the battle in progress between Allied forces and the Nazi army in northern Africa, he proclaims, “Rommel, you magnificent bastard, I read your book!”
Every non Muslim needs to read the enemy's book.
Until they do, and then behave accordingly, this madness will never end.
If an outfit is not squeaky clean on its verbiage online or on its banners/placards it must be banned.
A Unit has to do that to protect itself. A few years ago some lyin bastids claimed a small town downtown shop was racist ‘cause they stopped a black shoplifter. The Uni’s mistake was in letting a dean openly endorse the demonstrations against the racist shop. This put them into a sort of collaboration situation and they got sued. They lost ~$30M.
Any org that endorses violence (like “river tothe sea”) needs to be purged by the Uni.
They have a right to their opinions and freedom to speak them. They have the right to gather and wave their stupid signs and chant their hatred. They do NOT have the right to attack others and to riot.
While they’re at it they should also ban Israeli Apartheid Week (IAW) and Boycott Divest Sanction (BDS). Both of the groups (just like the Muslim Students Association (MSA)), which spawned them are nothing more than fronts for the Muslim Brothehood.
Both of those groups have done more than pretty much anyone else to make the intellectual environment at a lot of colleges (including my Alma Mater) absolutely *toxic* since the early 2000s.
Let the pro-Hamas groups speak. Let them provoke a backlash. Let them talk themselves out of jobs on graduation. Let them show how long it takes university administrators to decide that taking 3-year-old hostages is morally wrong. Give the pro-Hamas groups enough rope to hang themselves.
