There are many Trump-friendly personalities at Fox News, including Judge Jeannine, which is why I can watch them regularly.

There are others in passive-aggressive opposition, including former Bushites like Dana Perino and... Karl Rove.

I can barely tolerate watching such people because I know there are plenty of American conservatives and Republicans who are not so wild about Trump as I am but will need to come onboard the Trump-train for a win in 2024.

So they get their say too, much as I don't like it.

This particular incident strikes me as corporate behind-the-scenes passive-aggressive manipulation against Trump which may even have been unintentional from Waters' perspective.

Sure, I understand your feelings here, but Fox News is still the most popular news source that isn't 100% bat-sh*t crazy leftists, and does influence millions of relatively conservative Republican voters.

And Fox has many personalities who are unashamed Trump-friendly, of whom I think Jessie Waters is one.
So, I don't expect to see them stab Trump in the back, and I doubt if Waters himself did this.

I'm near certain you are right about that.
For sure they seem to be trying to drum up support for some opposition candidate -- anyone who might turn it into a contest and horse-race they can cover breathlessly.

I'm not certain how much of that is pure anti-Trump and how much is just news media people doing what media people naturally do -- stir up as much controversy as possible to get more viewers.

"Headline: Trump is still winning" -- enough of those will drive any news organization into bankruptcy.
That's why they need controversy and contests.

It's all about their numbers.

I just want them to be out in the open about it, and not do dirty, sneaky, behind-the-scenes passive-aggressive attacks on Trump, such as I saw last night on Waters Primetime.
