I held back on writing this for a day because I am very aware that, living in America — whatever the reason (and my readers know that reason) — who am I, what business have I, to chime in on the hostage deal? But I can hold back only for a day. If Joe Biden can give his opinion from America, so can I. But I am not on the scene, and I recognize and even ask that my readers take this all with a grain of salt, a “butt-in-sky” from California. Still, as I have quoted Yeshayahu (Isaiah) before: “L’ma’an Tzion — For Zion’s sake I cannot hold my peace, and for the sake of Jerusalem I will not be silent.”
I don’t like this deal. Not one bit.
I don’t trust Hamas, and even if I did trust them it would not matter. They must be obliterated. After they all have gone up in smoke, been buried under rubble, and been asphyxiated in their tunnels, I will think about them again. All they mean to me now is that they are poison to be expunged, rats underground in tunnels to be exterminated.
Every Israeli “hostage deal” makes it worse for the next time. It means more Jews will be slaughtered later in return for fewer hostages now. The price is too high.

Why would this cease fire be any different than the previous one? You know, that cease fire that was in place on Oct 6th? The one that both Hamas and Israel agree to .... the one that Hamas broke?
Don’t get me wrong, I am all for peace, but lets not get into and endless set of “time outs” in order to resupply and reequip. Hamas has show that it cant be trusted to abide by a cease fire. So unless there is some kind of ENFORCEMENT ... why bother?
Politics is Moderate and Conservatives are constantly manipulated by emotional gaslighting in “Conservative Media” that herds us to Moderate political parties like Likud in Israel.
They point to the “Extremism” of the Left associating it with the Mainstream Democrat-Liberal parties to make the Moderate Republican-Conservative parties look palatable.
Don’t be suckers anymore insist on authentic outsider Non-Moderate Non-Chamber of Commerce Non-Business As Usual politicians and vote third party or write-in names until things really change.

Very much doubt that Hamas will return one fertile Jewish woman hostage alive. They mean to be genocidal. Sorry but the political realities are what they are. There can be a Palestine or there can be an Israel. There cannot be both. Either Israel annhilates Hamas and its ilk or it is tacit to its own destruction.
The rabbi is correct. It takes a wise and strong leader and people to do it.

I agree with you, this makes it appear Israel is negotiating from a position of weakness. Clearly we don’t know all that is going on, so we should wait to see. My hope is they have overwhelmingly strong surveillance capabilities and will be able to strike with surgical precision once they renew hostilities. Sadly, I think the cease fire calls will begin five minutes later with increased impact.

Israel is an extremely capable, intelligent, industrial nation and has given to the world many, many inventions and improvements.

The careful and meticulous way in which Israel has carried out its cleansing and rescue operations is to be lauded, not lambasted, and should be recognized as a better than capable warrior nation.
IMO, all . . . I repeat, ALL . . . of the world's problems have stemmed from the pelosi/schumer hatred for the most effective President America has had in a long time, perhaps even ever, and the seating of a less than functional idiot has been the catalyst for evil to take better control of its reins.
We're in an obvious and obtuse spiritual battle and it will be won on a spiritual level . . . even if we get President Trump 2.0
