Not always.
I lived for two years in Australia, and never had any swoop me. Gallah cockatoos made me laugh and crows cawwed funny. An emu attacked me once but I ran back into the car before he could peck me a second time.
Animals see things that we don’t. Dogs often stare up at ceilings. This is because they see the ghosts and demons that inhabit the world. They see them from birth so are used to them and don’t react to them. They just keep an eye on them. That’s my explanation and I’m sticking to it.

So, in my garden I decorate my scare crow to look like FJB-Joe.
I better shelter in my bunker, right? Due to the incoming flocks?
In my garden various firearms take care of the unwanted critters.
