Private buyers can make some excellent deals at these events in Texas.

The lack of a serial number does not change how dangerous a gun is or is not. Requiring a serial number is a relatively recent federal law, passed in 1968. After the 1968 Gun Control Act was passed, crime rose significantly.

Houston has already had several of these gun turn-in events, labeled with the Orwellian term “buyback.” As Houston did not own these firearms previously, they cannot buy them back

Similar to the needle "exchanges" ... as if junkies are actually bringing their used needles and exchanging them.
