Former President Donald Trump leads President Joe Biden by 2 points in the latest poll by Quinnipiac, a first for that poll.

Trump receives 48% support from registered voters to 46% for Biden in the poll released Wednesday, which was conducted from Nov. 9-13 among 1,574 registered voters with a margin of error of 2.5%. Trump also led Biden in a three-way race, 38% to 37%, with independent candidate Robert F. Kennedy Jr. drawing 21%.

Trump’s lead over Biden and Kennedy also held up in a five-way race, with the former president holding 38%, Biden drawing 35% and Kennedy securing 17%, while independent candidate Cornell West and Green Party presidential candidate Jill Stein each pulled 3% support.

Trump and Biden held commanding leads in their respective primary campaigns for their parties’ presidential nominations, the poll said. Trump led Republican Gov. Ron DeSantis by 48 points, while Biden led author Marianne Williamson 74% to 12%.

Democratic Sen. Joe Manchin of West Virginia is considering a possible third-party run for president after announcing he would not seek reelection to the Senate.

Biden previously led Trump by 1 point in Qunnipiac’s September poll and by 4 point in July, according to a post on X by Interactive Polls

Trump leads Biden by 1 point in the RealClearPolitics average of polls from Oct. 27 to Nov 14. At this time in 2019, Biden led Trump by 10.2% while in 2015, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton held a 4.4% lead over Trump.Republished with permission from The Daily Caller News Foundation.

I doubt Trump loses 10% of his Trump-Biden to a Trump-Biden-Kennedy race.

Except on a few minor issues, Kennedy is to the left of Biden.

Nationwide polls for the presidency are worthless. Presidential polls do not account for the fraud which is always heavy in blue states.

State by state polls are preferred, but, the only states that decide the election are the battleground states.

The dems will see that and start creating a fake crisis like they did in 2020 to distract the voters and make it easier for them to cheat.

Yup...DJT will carry OH,IN,TN,FL,MO (etc, etc) by 60%-35% but will somehow lose GA,PA,MI,WI and AZ by a 48.1%-47.9% margin...after being ahead by 5 points at 11:45pm (local time).

Yep, worthless polls. Even though they favor one’s candidate. They try to scare and manipulate people.

Even someone as politically blind as yours truly can see that the purpose of these polls is to prepare the public for the depresidentialization of Brandon.

I think the key ideas are:

1. He is polling well above his 2015 and 2019 numbers
2. He is leading in key battleground states.

"Trump receives 48% support from registered voters to 46% for Biden"

There's little comfort in this. 46% of the US electorate consists of morons, i.e. useful idiots, and the Democrats can easily steal 2% of the vote or more, especially with the complicity of a corrupt national press and court system.

Trump is the only reason Biden is still running, but I think if Biden becomes that enfeebled or otherwise falls significantly behind Trump, he will be pushed off the ticket at the convention. The Democrats don’t even want him to run and won’t care one iota that they didn’t get to vote for the replacement. It would be tricky to 86 Kamala without some blowback, but I think that they will manage it and put Newsom on. All they care about is winning and will do anything necessary to put themselves in the best position to win.

Their convention is a month after the GOP‘s, so depending on what Trump’s legal situation looks like and the polls look like, I expect them to act accordingly.

Yes, you hit the major issue - the battleground states.

The only faith I have in the presidential election is that Democrats will manufacture all the votes needed.

If not enough ballots have been manufactured by election day, they will shut down the counting at 11:00pm on election day, in order to fill in the ballots needed to put the Dim over the top.

Polls simply help them gauge the number of votes to be manufactured.

The FIB will provide cover.

Duh...
