The broadcasted OJ’s trial, didn’t they? No problem to put Depp, Rittenhouse, Zimmerman, Alex Jones, etc. on TV.

Courts, in particular criminal cases, are open to the public the the singular reason of preventing/exposing corruption of the court system. The trials of PDJT are far more consequential, and public interest is far greater, than any of those others.

I’d leave it up to the defense. If they want it [to prevent injustice/corruption], or don’t [to avoid undue prejudice/conviction by public sentiment], the state should have no say.

Courtroom Photographing and Broadcasting Prohibited Except as otherwise provided by a statute or these rules, the court must not permit the taking of photographs in the courtroom during judicial proceedings or the broadcasting of judicial proceedings from the courtroom.
