The Great Awakening is happening and the awakened will eventually be in the majority. Just 7 years ago I would have been included among the asleep.

That is literally due to the bell curve in IQ.

I have observed that it can be literally impossible to communicate abstractions to more than (say) a 2-standard deviation difference.

So MDs (used to have mean IQ=132) can barely communicate with the average IQ (and with IQ approximating a symmetric bell curve centered on 100, half the population is less than *that*).

So "wear your mask, trust your doctor" is as much as some people can process.
