Ignore stupid people. In this case “too long” meant enough time to degrade the fight forces of the enemy and hopefully reduce the number of your own casualties. Public opinion doesn’t matter. The international “community” doesn’t matter. The only thing that matters is the number of soldiers that your critics are going to commit to the battlefield against you. And the French and other whining nations won’t (Turkey will if they think they can get away with it, but they can’t). So, yeah, ignore stupid people...
Yes. That was the plan by anti-Israel faction. During the waiting period the enemy gathers strength and sends out propagandists to undermine Israel.
Every attack against Israel since 1948 included “we want a ceasefire” “go to the peace conference table” “both sides have killed civilians” and “Israel must agree to give up land for peace.”
Why not Hamas and Hezbollah give up killing Israelis and Americans? Give peace a chance./S
