Israeli news anchor to CNN: 'World moved quickly from showing empathy to blaming Israel' Yonit Levi explains that Israelis feel they shouldn't be allowed such a short window of support when fighting Hamas.

Israel National News, Oct 29, 2023, 7:57 PM (GMT+2)

Israeli news anchor Yonit Levi spoke with CNN on Sunday about the situation in Israel since the October 7th massacre by Hamas.

Levi described the public sentiment on the war, which has entered its next stage with IDF ground forces entering the Gaza Strip. "Israelis are still very much in this. They are reeling from the worst terror attack that they have ever suffered. Every day, more and more information is coming out. Sources told me that there are still more than 100 Israeli bodies that haven't been identified. Understand what has been done to these people before death and after. This is where we are; the public is watching this very closely, concerned about the hostages and also about what the next steps of this war will look like."

When asked about foreign support for Israel she explains that US support is not only in the form of aircraft carriers but also in the form of advisors who are experts in the type of situations that Israel is facing in the Gaza Strip.

Despite this, Levi feels the foreign support for Israel is waning fast: "I think, from the Israeli point of view, the world has moved on quite quickly from showing very, very brief empathy for what we are still going through to, in many cases, even blaming Israel for what has happened. And I think that now many Israelis feel like their case isn't clear enough, maybe hasn't been clear enough for years. But how do you wage this war against this terror organization, which has been so cynical, that starts by murdering your own children and then hides under their population, not at all caring if they're hurt? So it's a very difficult thing to manipulate and maneuver, I think that Israelis on the one hand do feel like the stopwatch has begun to run its course, Israel always has a short window. But we are also kinda angered by the fact that there is a stopwatch to begin with because they feel like they have been through something that should never happen again."

Short attention spans. This is the danger in waiting too long to effectively retaliate.

Seems to be a standard case of the government doing something wrong without the consent of the governed.

Dare we ask who holds the reins of power over there?

Shutting off communications in Gaza was an explicit decision by the Israelis — one that was reversed after pressure from the United States, says a senior U.S. official. “We made it clear they had to be turned back on” and “need to stay back on.” Via

A lot of people seem to get fooled by the Communist press' focus on the pro-terrorist demonstrations, which greatly exaggerate the popular support for Hamas. You see almost exclusively two groups supporting Hamas: Muslims and Communists. If Western societies wish to live, both must be suppressed.

In Western Europe in particular I see a sea change in public opinion where many are finally waking up to the danger coming from having admitted so many Muslims and the feeling that Western nations have to close ranks in combating them.

Yes, but that’s not unique.
I remember, quickly after Sept 11, there were suddenly horror stories about poor Muslims being discriminated by evil racist Americans.
The same shift in about the same time frame.

Israel and the rest of whatever remains of the sane portion of the world should be relentlessly branding the “Palestinians” as the Nazis they are. What they did in the unprovoked attacks on October 7th was every bit as abhorrent as anything that Nazi Germany ever did, and the Muslim world’s larger-scale plans for Jews and Israel surpasses Hitler’s actions. During WWII, the “Grand Mufti of Jerusalem” also conspired with Hitler to try to wipe out the Jews.

Since Nazi Germany seems to be the only example of true evil that the woke, insane Left will still acknowledge, it is essential to take every opportunity to connect the so-called “Palestinians” and the rest of the Islamist cabal to that ideology.

Whether Hamas will win strategically and long term will depend on how many Gazans Israel kills.

Hamas killed 1400 Israelis. So far 8000 Gazans have been killed.

Since Hamas was the aggressor, the world generally may go along with Israel killing 14,000 Gazans, or a ratio of 10 dead Gazans per dead Israeli.

If Israel kills 140,000, the world won’t go along with that. It is too much like the World War II practice of killing 100 villagers for each soldier killed by partisans.

At some number between 14,000 and 140,000 Hamas will win in the court of global opinion and Israel becomes a pariah state.
