I disagree. He got so many of us that are far brighter to listen to him, for years, while he got richer and richer. So we have lost time, while he has gained wealth. Johnson is measurable ~25% measurably more conservative than McCarthy and at least vocally has held much better positions.
The process worked and we are now likely way better off with Johnson as speaker.
