I could see the tide turning against DeSantis when he went after Trump for things that were far beyond his control (DeSantis knew better, MAGA knew better, and it infuriated the base).
Regardless of how this ultimately plays out, I will regard Trump as the greatest President in my lifetime. He accomplished more, against unbelievable odds, than any President in recent memory while staying true to his mission. And like all giants, the ankle biters are trying everything in their power to destroy him.
Trump’s greatest achievement was pulling back the curtain and showing us just how ugly, irrational, and corrupt our institutions had become. Millions of Americans are now wide awake and nothing is putting them back to sleep.

The calls to have DeSantis drop out of the race this early look a little suspicious.
What’s suspicious is why he is running and making these outrageous statements against Trump and only a handful of people on websites defending him. At this point, it’s as clear as day to anyone who is serious and honest that Ron DeSantis isn’t running to win the nomination, he’s running to sabotage President Trump.
He started to use one after he became the nominee in 2016. I remember him saying that he had to learn how to use it.
I’ve used teleprompters for some corporate video’s I’ve done. It takes a bit to get used to it. Especially when going off script and getting back on.
I couldn’t imagine being Trump’s prompter operator. Trump goes on a five minute riff then tries to get back on script.
Your analysis is spot on. Had Ron taken your approach the race would be much, much closer. If Ron had just stayed the course he could have been on the flank and if the rats used lawfare to Take Trump off the board he could be the revenge candidate and nearly unstoppable. If the rats failed Ron would have a near lock on 28. Instead he took the meeting with the GOPe when he should have told them to go see Christie
Ron is completely tone deaf.
People who currently support Trump (the vast majority of Republican likely voters) are not going to switch to Ron’s side because he attempts some failed zinger about Trump needing a teleprompter.
