I use an app to remove all EXIF data from any pic I post on the net. Even if I download a pic and do something with it, my last step is to strip out all EXIF.
Until you check your door, its in a quantum state of both “locked” and “unlocked.”

I used to do that with garage door. Now I do not back out of the driveway until it closes, even for a short trip with someone still home.
