Apparently it’s a flag they put out during their period of mourning, unusual for it to be flown any other time. Some are interpreting it as a call to jihad... summoning everyone home to Persia to raise an army to fight Israel.

Good to see someone knows the significance ( their point of view). I worked in Saudi years ago when I could sit down and eat goats eyeballs and brains on a beautifully served goat head on rice- with Palestinians…..just before they started to get radicalized.
