This list only includes destroyed vehicles and equipment of which photo or videographic evidence is available. Therefore, the amount of equipment destroyed is significantly higher than recorded here. Loitering munitions, drones used as unmanned bait, civilian vehicles and derelict equipment are not included in this list. All possible effort has gone into avoiding duplicate entries and discerning the status of equipment between captured or abandoned. Many of the entries listed as 'abandoned' will likely end up captured or destroyed. Similarly, some of the captured equipment might be destroyed if it can't be recovered. When a vehicle is captured and then lost in service with its new owners, it is only added as a loss of the original operator to avoid double listings. When the origin of a piece of equipment can't be established, it's not included in the list. The Soviet flag is used when the equipment in question was produced prior to 1991. This list is constantly updated as additional footage becomes available.

Looks like Russian defense industries need some more funding, now that they have cleared out the warehouses of old weapons.

I remain skeptical Jordan will win on the floor.
Since he pledged aid to Ukraine, he has gotten some Reps to line up behind him.
Will it be enough?
“The Judiciary Committee chairman can only afford to lose four Republicans out of 221 and still win the gavel. Yet as of Tuesday morning, there remained at least six GOP members publicly opposed to Jordan, and another handful who had yet to say how they would vote.”
I think Biden wants Venezuelan oil on the market so RuZZian oil can be squeezed more.
“Venezuelan officials are expected to announce a preliminary agreement Tuesday that could open the door for sanctions relief in exchange for basic electoral guarantees.
After months of roadblocks, representatives for President Nicolás Maduro’s government and the US-backed opposition will sign a deal in Barbados later today, according to officials from Norway, which are facilitating the talks. Any significant concessions from Maduro, such as allowing banned opposition candidates to run in the 2024 presidential vote, could lead the US to ease crippling restrictions on Venezuela’s oil industry.”
“Russia Goes on the Offense in Ukraine—and Suffers Heavy Losses”
“With Ukraine’s monthslong southern counteroffensive making slow progress, Russia last week launched a large-scale assault of its own with a narrower aim: the small eastern city of Avdiivka.
By most accounts, it didn’t go well.
Ukraine’s military said it destroyed dozens of Russian tanks and other armored vehicles and killed hundreds of Russian troops while losing little territory. Video released by Ukrainian officials showed the damage, with artillery and bomblets dropped from drones crashing into one Russian vehicle after another, leaving them smoking on the road.”

Worldtraveler once upon a time to SpeedyInTexas--- "US National Debt doesn't need to be paid off. Just serviced. Ample abilities to do that." Did you really opine in this manner? Wow.
"A perpetual bond is a bond with no maturity date that theoretically pays interest forever." So you think US citizens should be in perpetual debt and only "service" the debt? Others call that involuntary servitude.

Kyiv Independent:
“Ukrainian overnight strikes on Russian military airfields in occupied Luhansk and Berdiansk destroyed nine helicopters, an air defense system, and an ammunition warehouse, the Special Operations Forces reported on Oct. 17.
The attacks also hit the airfields’ runways and “special equipment” stored at the premises, the Ukrainian military said, without elaborating on the nature of this equipment.
Dozens of Russian personnel were killed and wounded as a result of the operation, according to the report.”
M39 ATACMS, with 165 km range, puts all of occupied Ukraine within range, save for parts of Crimea. M39A1, with 300 km range, would cover Crimea too. Both disperse M74 APAM bomblets with the A1 version trading bomblet quantity for range. Obviously, these would be hugely valuable against targets in Belgorod, Taganrog and other bases inside Russia, but Ukraine has agreed not to fire them into Russia. Now, if we could send newer M57 ATACMS for use against harder targets, M26 cluster rockets and GLSDB, Ukraine’s M142 and M270 systems would begin to show their true potential.
Yet again, Russia’s “worlds greatest air defense systems” are shown to fail against real world targets.
By all accounts, it's a disaster. But they keep coming. Multiple sources have reported Russia has committed 3 brigades to take Avdiivka, so as much as they have lost, they have a lot more to throw in.
It is war, how air defense doink

Should have sent 300 if we really want to make a difference.
I imagine they have a lot to throw in, and appear to being destroyed as quickly as they are deployed.
Probably a political decision, and all the officers care about is trying to satisfy those desires
Wonder how long the basic Russian soldier will continue to keep this up, they have to see what is happening to those sent out
The introduction of newer more effective weapons and others to follow will pinch the Russians.
The depleting of Soviet stocks, having to go to NK, Iran, and China speaks volumes about the “undepletable” weapons reserves we were all told for months the Russians had.
I believe Russian economic reports as much as I want to buy Chinese real estate stock.
My guess is ruzzia will deploy their attack helicopters and CAS aircraft back to ruzzian bases.
This will make it very difficult for the attack helicopters to support ruzzian infantry.

Special Operations Forces!
I would bet that partisans were also involved in real-time targeting and taking the video contained in the link above.
OPSEC...information on deployment of ATACMs did not leak out. The ruzzians were caught completely by surprise.
“Should have sent 300 if we really want to make a difference.”
This is true. US military aid has been very tentative, and US policy has been half-assed.

Russians posted proof that US technology from 1996 just defeated Russia's most advanced air defense units, to destroy 9 of their helicopters. 1996 is clearly production date on the shell.
