Trace reporter gets a reality check from 2A attorney after claiming AR-15s aren't in "common use"

The staff at the Everytown-supported website “The Trace” have done an amazing job of integrating their anti-gun viewpoints into mainstream media over the past few years. Reporters for the pro-gun control website have seen their bylines at USA Today and more than 150 other news outlets, while Trace reporter Jennifer Mascia was named to CNN’s “Guns in America” team last October.

While mainstream media outlets have incorporated The Trace’s reporting into their own coverage, the views of their staffers are anything but mainstream, as Mascia reminded us on X/Twitter on Monday.

"@JenniferMascia"

"To the gun lobby and its media, a terrorist attack perpetrated with guns is an opportunity to sell more guns. Happy shopping!"

As Mascia was quickly reminded by Second Amendment attorney Kostas Moros, she doesn’t seem to have a problem with gun control groups exploiting tragedies to demand more restrictions on the right to keep and bear arms, or even to fundraise off of high-profile shootings.

Remember how quickly the left reversed their position on firearms when it came to Ukraine? They even did so to the point of encouraging people to send AR15s to the people in Ukraine. (Obviously not knowing anything about firearm transport and transfer laws).

They have expressed no such support for individuals owning firearms when it comes to Israeli citizens. Very telling.

The truth is that the left just doesn't want people they disagree with owning firearms. It is so much easier to control the unarmed citizen.

Israel doesn’t have the 2A, either. Guess the reporter may not have realized that either. Strict gun laws in Israel. Which is why you didn’t have those people reaching for cc weapons and returning fire.

” Which is why you didn’t have those people reaching for cc weapons and returning fire.”

Can you imagine hearing the gun fire while your social media and telephone are growing crazy with people reporting on the attack? All while not having a single firearm in your house due to laws made by bureaucratic agency heads or elected politicians? The same people who are protected by “sanctioned” firearm owners and carriers and rushed to “safe houses”?

None of those people are coming to your rescue. You are on your own. The only thing you could do is hope they skip your home for some reason. Otherwise, you just wait for the moment they burst through your door while you pray.

And, the anti-gunners tell us to “just call the authorities”. When seconds count.....you are your only defense.

I’ll never allow myself to be in such a position.

We live in the country where cops are 45 minutes away. We are regular shooters and so are well versed on pistol and long guns usage, cleaning, and reloading ammunition. Being an NRA instructor, it is amazing how so few people have a clue how to manipulate the controls on their weapons.

That they don’t let regular citizens have semiauto rifles for self-defense is pretty surprising. It’s kinda ridiculous we fund all these high-tech weapons systems and they don’t even allow their regular citizens to possess the most effective small arms to defend themselves.

Is there a tactical demographic reason or is it just typical lib dog squeeze?

None of these people are coming to your rescue.

The rules for survival have been deeply etched into stone with blood for eons:

1. No one is coming to save you.

2. Everything is your responsibility.

3. Kill who needs to be killed.

4. Save who needs to be saved.

5. Never stop working.

Those who beat their arms into agricultural implements, will be slaves of those who have arms.

There is a good reason that for more than 48 months, there have been over a million guns sold per month in the USA. Not a single month below 1 million.

The public understands this. In spite of the media lying about the reality.

The USA is made of great, peace loving but well armed citizens.

They will not take out weapons. Period. End Trans.
