Conservative orthodox Jews (Hasidics) are also big welfare queens in the US, notably in Rockland County and Brooklyn NY. Almost all the males are devoted to studying the Torah, rather than actually working. In addition to looking ridiculous, they are a complete drag on society.

Almost all male Christians are devoted (or supposed to be except their faith is in vain) to studying the Bible. An Orthodox male Jew can study enough Torah to read it in Hebrew, qualify as a rabbi without being paid to be one, and hold a secular career whether professional or working class.
