I've read the kind of report from unreliable sources, like you did.

Reports are that, the Ukrainian forces have suffered over 200,000 casualties, and that's dead and injured.

Reports are that, the Russians have suffered over a million casualties, dead and injured.

And, like I said, whatever the Ukrainian casualties, you have to multiply that by at least 2, since the invaders are not as entrenched as those in familiar territory and don't know the ground as well, and the people being invaded are ALL ENEMIES of the invading forces. Thus, it's only natural that the invaders would suffer much more in casualties than the defending forces.
