Having 90% of the federal bureaucracy resign would be a good thing — after the initial turmoil. But they would never do this. Instead, if Trump is permitted to run and win (big “if”), they will stay and make total war on him and his supporters. The living hell they unleashed in his first term would be nothing — nothing! — compared to what they’ll do the second time around.
