I am a woman and this woman was wrong. A person has no right to get rid of someone else’s things behind their back.
She was selfish and I imagine jealous of that car taking attention from her self important self.
He needs to pick better women and from the first moment she started whining about her car, he should have told her to pack her things and park yourself and your car elsewhere.

Back in the mid-80s I had the chance to buy a very nice original condition ‘66 (’67?) 4-speed Impala coupe with a 427. The price was $6500 if I remember correctly, anyway not a ton of money. I was single, and could have afforded it pretty easily. However, I was living in an apartment and didn’t have a secure place to park it. This was in Jacksonville FL, there were always Navy personnel transferring overseas, and a lot of nice muscle cars on the market.

I agree with the remarks of others here, this was a very inexpensive way to end the relationship. Had he married her, this type of behavior and probably worse would have gone on and on making his life a nightmare.
