Republicans are divided on helping Ukraine defend itself against Russian aggression. Most Republicans in Congress have voted to support Ukraine. While some have lost their confidence, most have not.
This report card assigns each Republican in the House of Representatives a letter grade from A to F based on their votes on five key provisions relating to helping Ukraine win. The grades also reflect each member’s public statements (or lack thereof) on the war, because leadership requires explaining clearly and consistently why a Ukrainian victory and a Russian defeat is in America’s best interests.

That's without going into Russia's funding of the American environmental movement to kill off production of American fossil fuels to reduce competition for Russian oil. Russia deserves to be defeated just for that. I don't support sending American soldiers to Ukraine, but selling weapons to Ukraine for fair market value is an idea I can get behind.
Thanks for the report card. We need to primary the neoCON scum buckets with A’s on the report who have sold out our nation and only care about borders on the other side of the world while America is under full on invasion from military age men.
A huge “F” on Ukraine.
Not one penny that has been sent to this sh*tshow has been ACCOUNTED for. We do not really know where it went or how it is being spent. All that we do know is that our Tax Dollars could be put to much better use right here, at home.
The House has been far too silent on demanding answers to even the most basic of questions on this matter.
All “Republicans for Zelensky” need to resign at once and go over to Kiev and fight. Then replace them with Conservatives who aren’t sending billions of tax dollars to the corrupt and evil globalist oligarchs.
I have just counted up the No To Ukraine seats plus the Neutral categories and it sums to the majority of the Republican caucus.
Funding should not even get a vote. It could certainly be passed with Dem votes plus a minority of GOP caucus seats, but that is the absolutely verboten condition if you want to hold the Speakership. It is what drove Boehner out.
You must not pass bills over the majority of your own caucus. This is just not permissible.
I don’t think this Zelensky trip is going to move GOP seats. The majority against is not tiny.
Hilarious neoCON propaganda.
The Military Industrial Complex traitors are so worried about globohomo, yet not one word about our own border under invasion. Sick scum.
What was your count?
Looked like 117.
Outright Red, or green/okay with neutral (less than enthusiastic) commentary and all the yellows.
111 is half the caucus.
Outright red is 93. Only needed 18 more.
My Rep got an F! I think I’ll keep him.
More than I thought. My guess was 50 or so.
Republicans on the take for a regime that erected hundreds of monuments to Jew-killing Nazis.
Well, we DO know a fair amount of old US weaponry has been going to Ukraine, because (aside from geolocated vids and such), we have people right here on FR screaming it’s gonna cause WW3, and we have the Russians bitterly complaining about those weapons too.
It’s really not a lot of weaponry sent vs. the size of the war (either 20 or 24 HIMARS out of the ~500 now in US stocks, for example), but in absolute $$ terms, it adds up.
Given our current Administration, it’s more likely that if the $$ were “used at home” they’d just cause more damage.
Whatever happened to the concept amongst conservatives of limiting social spending, anyway?
How soon are you departing for a 6 month stint at the US border?
I don’t think you’ll find too many of the “no” FReepers willing to candidly discuss those activities of Russia in the US.
Deflection and irrelevance may abound, though...
It is, however, an incredibly important point, and it extends well beyond the particulars you correctly mention.
Somebody sure needs to do it. Virtually no one does. Maybe that's because it requires facing harsh truths and realities.
Biden could have / should have in his address to the UN, today. He almost swerved in to it. But, then, total fail.
When are you leaving for Kiev ?
