I guess the question for the conspiracy folks would be: Why there?

That’s a good question. If you listen to the the “conspiracy folks” you’d know the WEF wants Lahaina to be a 15 minute city and to use that place in their Great Reset scheme.
Certainly rich and powerful Oprah Winfrey types resented the poor Lahainians who had locked in land rights.
And local and state officials had their own designs to bring “the railroad to Rock Ridge”.
And even if you believe this was a Perfect Storm of unfortunate and unrelated events - it sure turned out well for the Globalists.

So people believe that the WEF had their henchmen set up their DEW machine and used their hurricane creator/director machine so they could kill a thousand people, wipe out a fishing village so they could set up a community with a Starbucks and Whole Foods.
And who are the people doing this stuff? Not the WEF people..but the folks on the ground who man the weapons and sit in the conference rooms dealing with the logistics of this stuff? Anyone who has moved people from one place to another for a job knows that the logistical folks are the core of their efforts.
Where are these people? None of them ever tell their friends and families what they are doing? I had a relative who was a “contractor” in Iraq. I’ve been told stories about what they were doing. None of them were dealing with WEF and DEW systems.
