The problem is that the political center cannot hold. To increase their power and their take, Pelosi delibrately gave a loud voice to the left. Meanwhile to maintain some semblance of control and get their cut of the take, the RINOs are appeasing Pelosi and ticking off their own voters.

The country as a whole is rejecting wokism, the fixation of our public education establishment on utter filth they they cover up with "gender" identity debats, EGS and all of that stuff. So the RINOs are out, the left has gone batshit crazy and the folks who just want things to be like they were are trying to fight Trump by making deals to keep the middle going. But there is no middle. The RINOs don't know what it means and the radicals won't stand for it.

It's a mess and old GOPee and their backers backing DeSantis in the hope of keeping it all going are going to lose as well, I predict.

Nonsense. Only someone historically illiterate on the subject would make that claim. The founder of the Kim dynasty went into exile in the Soviet Union, and was trained in their schools for foreign revolutionaries, and then sent back to Korea to start a revolution. So right from the beginning they were a puppet of the Russians, not the Chinese. It was only later, after the Soviet-Chinese split, that Korea began to flirt with the Chinese and play the Chinese and Russians against each other to try and see who they could get the most benefit from.
