Blaming “climate change” on atmospheric CO2 levels is like blaming a band-aid for the cut it covers.
The atmosphere converts climate into weather, period.
Other than that, the atmosphere plays no part in climate. Nor does any (trace) gas in the atmosphere.
“Climate is what you expect. Weather is what you get.” - Lazarus Long (Robert Heinlein)....................
Truest statement ever made about the WEF's plan of the "Great Reset" and the UN's Project 2030.
A division of the world population into 'Lords versus serfs' and controlled by the 'self-entitled' and 'un-elected'.
The term "Fossil Fuels" is the excuse to create the division.
An example of their aloofness is John Kerry
Besides being wildly impractical for many, how many people can even afford one? Buying a used one & not having a way of knowing the condition of many parts on it seems pretty absurd. The used one would probably cost more than most people could afford anyway. The electrical grid is hardly up to the task of what we need right now, let alone a few years down the road. From what I have heard, EV dealers would have to put up quite a bit of money to be able to sell & provide service facilities for them. Some dealers are already going out of business rather than to be able to afford sales & service for them. They are just a really, really bad idea. Want to drive something the government could easily control? Get an EV.
Yes. Problem is, they don't go over the cliff alone. They drag us all with them.
“And the tires they require are not your ordinary tire”
Huh?
I have a S60 Volvo and a Model 3 Tesla both are on 235/45R18s and they both happen to be on Pirelli and they absolutely are the identical tires same load rating same speed rating same tire id they numbers. The Model 3 is actually 100lbs lighter in curb weight vs the S60 and both are within one inch of each other is footprint shadow based on length and width so the identical exterior size. The Larger Model S still uses regular V or Z rated sedan tires one of my lawyers has a S plaid and it is not much heavier than the 7 series BMW it replaced with similar 20 inch tires on both.
There’s something sinister with just about everything this government does.
The tire issue is for EV winter driving. There are snow tires specifically made for EV winter driving. I doubt many people swap out for snow tires unless they have to be prepared for driving in snowy conditions. I have an ICE car and wait until the roads are mostly clear before driving.
