“Oliver Anthony” is Making More Money in a Day Than His Followers Make in a Year

We don’t know the whole story of why this guy all of the sudden became popular.

We know it was a totally forced meme, that every single shill conservative influencer posted the same day.

But it’s unclear how aware of this Oliver actually was – according to the story, someone came to him and offered to produce the song for him.

New York Post:

The men south of Richmond were on a high when viral phenomenon Oliver Anthony made a surprise appearance at a street festival here Saturday night.

Anthony’s “Rich Men North of Richmond” has rocketed to No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 songs chart, propelling a once-unknown songwriter from south-central Virginia onto the national stage.

But he’s staying close to his roots.

He opened his Rock the Block festival appearance by reading a Bible verse to the crowd of about 350 locals then said, “Despite what you’ve been reading on the Internet, this song still rings true,” and launched into his first song, “Ain’t Got a Dollar.”

His life has changed since he first sang its lyric “I ain’t gotta dollar, But I don’t need a dime,” with his estimated earnings now as high as $40,000 a day.

You give a guy $40,000 a day, he’s going to do what he’s told to do.

The number of people who will fight for anything at all in the face of that kind of money is less than 1 in 10,000, and probably even less than that.

Wow. Making music that people want is bad, if it has a conservative slant. Rappers rapping about killing each other, good.

The problem is, Rich Men is a song about victimhood. The lefts favorite tool shall not be infringed.

This guy, no saint, like us all, is reading the bible before the crowd, and not just a brief quote.

He will speak his mind, that God gave him.

I would not characterize Anthony as politically savvy. His thinking is antiquated.

Actually, no “normies” believe that. Diversity is NOT our “strength.” It’s killing society.

Actually, no “normies” believe that.

I can point out numerous polls showing a sizeable majority of Americans who believe in some flavor of "diversity is our strength". It's an idea that still has mainstream appeal, even if they dislike or reject the logical consequences thereof.

Diversity is NOT our “strength.” It’s killing society.

And I'm not disputing that. Yet that doesn't stop normies from believing it.

Guess what....Just because not ALL people who claim “victimhood” are actually victims, doesn’t preclude the existence of victims.

If one person robs another person, the person who was robbed is a “victim”.

If our government intentionally devalues currency and manipulates markets to enrich their friends at the expense of the middle class, the people negatively affected by those actions are “victims”.

The first step in ending the victimization is pointing out that it is happening. That’s what he is doing.

At this time, yes. Downloads from Apple and other Music Services.
I paid .99c to download Rich Men North of Richmond from Apple.
Apple keeps about 30%. Rest goes to the Artist or their Label.
Since Anthony has no “Record Label” at the Moment, he gets that share.
Then You have YouTube, Rumble or X (Twitter)payments based on number of views.
So far, I don’t think Anthony has been charging for his personal concert
appearances. But that would be another source of revenue if that changes.
This is just a short generalized summary.
