Nearly three days into its investigation of an incident that left two women injured by gunfire at Guaranteed Rate Field, the Chicago Police Department has largely concluded that the gunfire originated inside the ballpark. That’s according to CPD Interim Supt. Fred Waller, who spoke to the press after a police graduation ceremony on Monday.
“We’re dispelling a lot of things,” Waller said, adding that the possibility of a bullet “coming from outside is something we’ve almost completely dispelled.”
“We’re still looking at every avenue,” he continued. “It’s still under investigation. Something from inside—it could’ve happened that way.”

While it could have been a negligent discharge from some hood rat manipulating his illegal handgun without a holster, I’d suspect one of the low-budget armed security company employees was messing around with their handgun and discharged a round.
Wrong team, wrong league, wrong ballpark. The Chicago White Sox play on the South side. The Cubs are on the North side.
Well, you touch on recent news, that there are issues with the White Sox stadium, and they may move to another city.

Haven’t been to Chicago since 1961 and came back home with a throat infection that left me with throat trouble for decades.
Ironically, I am wearing white socks right now but I am always a Baltimore Orioles fan back to when they were the St. Louis Brown’s, along with Johnny U and the champion Colts.
