As previously reported by the DC Enquirer, Trump’s Instagram account was reinstated in early February after Meta unbanned his accounts after two years following the events of January 6th, 2021.
At the time of the initial ban, Meta released a press release giving the public an explanation of the company’s reasoning after it removed the 45th president on January 7, 2021.
The company set a two-year hiatus until an oversight board could assess whether or not the former president should be allowed back on the platforms to reach his hundreds of millions of followers.
Trump's return to Facebook, Instagram, and now Twitter will prove to be a boon for his campaign and his popularity as the indictments ramp up. His choice to post his mugshot as his first post back to the platform reenforces the historic nature of the (mug)shot that will be heard around the world.

Up to now, Trump has confined himself to mostly Republican and Conservative audiences, on Truth Social and with his massive rallies around the country. But his return to Twitter/X signals that he is now taking his case to the American people - exposing the danger and hypocrisy of a weaponized Justice system. The response will not just be directed at Sleepy Joe Biden, but at the entire Democrat/media cabal that enables and supports him in his lies. Every Democrat politician up for re-election next year should be very, very afraid.

The Republican Party USA is the largest, most diverse, political coalition in the history of the free world.
In a parliamentary system like Europe, it would take at least five political parties - all of them making significant compromises - to have the same level of political influence.
In sharp contrast, the Democratic Party USA is a rigid, top down, political monolith. Any deviation from the current Party dogma results in instant expulsion from the leadership.
Because of massive legal and illegal immigration - 35 million new Democrats since the Reagan Amnesty in 1986 - the Republican Party USA is a minority party.
Politically, we do not have the votes to install our own general philosophy.
On our best day, we can only block the worst parts of the Democratic Party agenda.

If we replace RINOs with true Democrats, the Left can just pass their agenda legally, and move straight to implementation.
