-Harrison Floyd, a co-defendant in former President Donald Trump’s election interference case in Georgia, is still in custody after surrendering at an Atlanta jail a day earlier.
-Court records Friday showed a hearing being set for Floyd, but a judge told reporters that nothing was happening at the courthouse today.
-Unlike Trump and his 17 other co-defendants, Floyd has been kept in custody because he didn’t previously negotiate a bond agreement, according to the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office.
Court records Friday showed a hearing being set for Harrison Floyd, a co-defendant in former President Donald Trump’s election interference case in Georgia who has been held in custody since Thursday afternoon.
The entry on Floyd’s docket in Fulton County Superior Court specified that Floyd’s “first appearance” hearing was set for 11 a.m. ET. The entry also appeared to show that Floyd would appear before Judge Scott McAfee.
But McAfee said that Floyd would not appear in court that day, either in person or virtually, NBC News reported.
“I think there’s been some misinformation that got directed to you by the magistrate court,” McAfee told reporters. The judge initially appeared confused by the congregation of journalists at his courtroom on Friday morning, per NBC.
“First appearances all happen at the jail and it was supposed to be scheduled for 11 o’clock today. So it might’ve already happened,” McAfee said.
Floyd will stay in Fulton County jail until he is granted bond, McAfee said, adding that the defendant is entitled to a court appearance within 72 hours following his arrest, according to NBC.

Harrison, we are praying for you. Please don’t think we’ve forgotten. May God send angles to protect you while you are there. People are working to get you out.
He is a conservative and therefore guilty in Fulton county.
PS It is not a crime. Being a conservative and worse a Trump supporter is the crime.
He’s black...this is standard for Racist Fulton county.
BTW could they be more blatant that they are trying to “flip” him against Trump?
“Harry. Harry, Harry, Harry. All ya gotta do is sign this document, and you’re a free man.”
“No... of course it won’t be used against Donald. Trust me. Just sign. You’ll be home for dinner.”
Obviously not. If someone believed that the subject was telling the truth and tried to get them to lie, that is one thing. This guy almost certainly believed Ruby was dirty.
This legal reasoning on the part of this DA is dangerous, it’s literally criminalizing disagreement.
Too bad Ruby has no conscience, I wouldn’t want to be her on judgement day.
Now he has to spend the weekend in jail, until he can get a bond hearing, which he probably cannot afford to pay.
There was a GiveSendGo but it’s been taken down, apparently because bail has been denied. Speculation above is probably true, they are leaning on him to finger Trump... they’ve already given Ruby Freeman a medal... she’ll be a saint by the end of summer... and Trump the monster that tried to force (or bribe) her to lie.
He strayed too far off the reservation...40 lashes.
Fulton County is 45% Black.
He is a Black Trump supporter, locked in the most dangerous jail in Georgia.
Trump would probably pay his bond if there was a price.
That would only be spun as a bribe.
There is no crime to flip for.
This is just political persecution.
So the racists let the Crackers walk out of the jailhouse, but locked up the Black Man without bail? Sounds like Fulton County is being run by Kluxers and Oreos.
Well, Malcolm X did warn us that “The White liberal is the worst enemy to America and the worst enemy to the Black man.”
If he was employed by Trump, that should shield him from the bribery charge? Who knows though? They sing to be singing from a different hymnal.
>>> oops... they seem to be singing from a different hymnal.
Malcolm X was ahead of everyone with his understanding of the American news media.
Greta Van Sustern had a lot to say about Fani and her treatment of this man. She was fired up. And she’s a Liberal.
