My doctor was pushing it on me. I asked which “vaccine” they had and he said pfizer. I asked if it was the name brand Comirnaty or the experimental one. He said the experimental one but they are the same. I told him they weren’t the same and then he quickly changed the subject and didn’t mention the “vaccine” again.
To lower the amount of their overall payouts - fewer hospitalizations from serious illnesses - much lower exposure. Should be obvious. Those that were vaccinated got seriously ill and far lower rate of hospitalization than those were not. That amounts to many millions of dollars in lower payouts. Despite all of the lies and propaganda spewed by a handful here, the hospitalization rate was far, far lower for those that were vaccinated - not even close. Geniuses here posted articles citing data "50% of those hospitalized were vaccinated and 50% weren't! That proves the vaccine isn't effective!" or if it was something like 53% - 47% - they would argue "this proves the vaccines made things worse! We knew it! Ha!" - from a pool of people where the populations were up to 80-90% vaccinated in some of these posts. People would argue until they were blue in the face on these articles the data showed the vaccines were not effective at preventing hospitalization. Mind boggling the levels of willful and determined ignorance you have to hold if a 10-20% portion of the population makes up 50% of hospitalizations vs. the other 50% from 80-90% of the population and you interpret that as being the same rate of hospitalization. Yet they would sit here and argue that until the cows came home, gloating, and attacking those who pointed out the math were "paid deep state operatives", etc.
A friend of mine was on the board of a local hospital and at first he denied that Doctors or the hospital were getting any incentives for covid diagnoses. He eventually admitted they were, but said “It’s only $1,200 dollars...” like that piddly amount wouldn’t make them biased. Hell, those quacks would do it for $12.

Just because you felt comfortable giving up your freedom of choice for an experimental vax does not mean WE do. You mention ignorance, you may want to look in the mirror mr. sheep.
Things like this are not a new practice. Insurance companies are going to protect their bottom line for themselves or the client they are servicing policies for - if there is a treatment available that will reduce their exposure, they will promote it. Given the enormity of the exposure from the jump in hospitalizations from people getting infected with COVID19, the $125 figure is probably accurate. More people being vaccinated greatly reduced the exposure to these insurers by reducing hospitalizations and serious illnesses. This is a sensationalized article from a dubious source trying to act like they've uncovered something totally unheard of and they've broke something big. They didn't.
Now...that said - this is a questionably ethical practice, of course, to pay doctors more to provide certain treatments. But this is not new or unique practice arising out of COVID19.

I do not know if the hospital system was paid more if he died of Covid related complications. However is the death certificate lists Covid as a cause of death FEMA would reimburse the family for funeral expenses under “Disaster 4485”. Call FEMA 844-684-6333 for details !!
Not for a vaccine that barely worked....at least in the long run. I have practiced medicine for 30 years. Never seen any sort of incentive like this. Clearly it would have been news years ago if true.
