J6 political prisoner Zachary Rehl is no longer able to afford a private attorney without assistance from the American people.
The government is seeking 30 years in federal prison for Rehl, the head of the Philadelphia chapter of the Proud Boys, for “his role in the Capitol riot.”
Rehl committed no violent crimes on January 6. He walked through the Capitol building on January 6 for merely a few minutes, took a selfie in the building then left the Capitol grounds.
Prosecutors argue the 37-year-old Marine Corps veteran and his allies, former Proud Boys chair Enrique Tarrio, 39, Joseph Biggs. 39, and Ethan Nordean, 33, aimed to foment a revolution on January 6 to keep former President Donald Trump in power in a “terror attack” that left a stain on American democracy.
The role that Rehl and Tarrio, Nordean, and Biggs played in “organizing” the Jan. 6, 2021, “attack” on the U.S. Capitol “threatened the bedrock principles of our country’ and warranted the significant punishment, government lawyers argued in a court filing late Thursday.”
“The defendants understood the stakes, and they embraced their role in bringing about a ‘revolution,” prosecutors wrote in a 155-page sentencing memo. “They unleashed a force on the Capitol that was calculated to exert their political will on elected officials by force and to undo the results of a democratic election. The foot soldiers of the right aimed to keep their leader in power. They failed. They are not heroes; They are criminals.”

It’s this fact that’s that more and more Americans are realizing, particularly as more video of J6 is seen by Americans. I’m certain that jurors are missing the big picture, but the rest of the country isn’t. The facts simply don’t line up to what the prosecutors are saying in the vast majority of J6 cases. I suspect that is also the case in many other cases. They are hell bent on winning cases, which isn’t such a bad thing, but it becomes bad when it isn’t just. I’ve been paying attention to cases local to me and it seems prosecutors pile on the charges, only to plea down. The thing about that is the description of the crime you hear in the media leaves you scratching your head as to how they found so many things to charge. That’s basically an instant win for prosecutors. Most people can afford to fight multiple charges and then there’s always the question if they do pay to fight a jury will find against them on all the charges. So the safest thing to do is take a plea deal. Of course anyone that has to use a public defender is really screwed.
They just didn’t like anyone upstaging THEIR revolution and overthrow of the government.
This is how despots solidify their grip on power.
Politically set up and prosecute the opposition for fabricated *crimes*. Make an example of a few high profile figures to show the rest that nobody is safe from their machinations.

What about Ray Epps? There are vids of him and others with bullhorns encouraging protesters to storm the Capitol Bldg. There are vids of Epps walking through the Capitol Bldg. after he told the J6 Committee that he was never in the bldg.

Epps was an insider fed instigating Trump supporters. That’s why he was never arrested. He’s been protected ever since, like Hunter Biden.
BLM and Antifa attack the White House and are charged with nothing. DC Stalinist show trials are theater for the corrupt justice system. This poor guy is a pawn.
60 Minutes did a puff piece on Ray Epps yesterday. It made him look like a saint.
