If you have followed the background, the purpose of Ron DeSantis meeting privately today with Georgia Governor Brian Kemp, is very clear. Georgia is the fulcrum state of the 2024 Sea Island “Roadmap for Ron.”
Ron DeSantis met privately with Georgia Gov. Brian Kemp on Friday, the latest in his effort to fortify relationships with three Republican governors alienated by Donald Trump.
The meeting, at a hotel in Buckhead, Georgia, preceded DeSantis’ appearance at a gathering of presidential candidates hosted by conservative talk radio host Erick Erickson. The two talked for about 30 minutes and did not discuss an endorsement, according to two people familiar with the meeting.

Our elections in Georgia are secure, accessible, and fair and will continue to be as long as I am governor. The future of our country is at stake in 2024 and that must be our focus.”

I’d like to see Ron DeSantis thrown in prison for his convictions. After all his rival for GOP nomination is facing such a fate, maybe will serve time in jail for it.

For the record, Erick Ericson is the fat pompous “conservative” blogger/yakker who called Trump a racist and fascist and that he “would never vote for Donald Trump, ever” Then he claims he did so in 2020. In other words, just another media rat.

Sea Island.....IIRC, a bunch of the Trump haters went there back in 2015/16 to plot their nasty anti-voter agenda. I remember Romney being quite prominent, and Tom Cotton as well.

Agreed. If all I knew about DeSantis was his record as governor he'd have my attention. But DeSantis-the-best-friend-of-RINO-corporatists is an unattractive candidate, especially after they showed how much they supported the steal.
