Magical thinking will take you just so far (remember the intoxicating dot-com days?). All I know is that he’s only 38, and he’s never held political office. For many years, he didn’t even vote. He says he was “apolitical” for a long time.
Now, all of a sudden, he’s running to be POTUS and saying what many GOP voters seem to want to hear.
That’s what gives me pause.
