He got trump elected. He just wasn’t great at chief of staff.
Republicans don’t read the voters in a state. They think every state is Alabama. Pennsyvania is perfect example especially in the governor’s race. They picked a guy who had no chance of winning over McCormick who has some warts but would have won and brought ridiculous pick Dr. Oz with him. But no. We had to go with the looney toons. Had republicans done a better job picking candidates, we may have had the majority in the senate and stopped the horrid judges going on the court in droves for Biden. Republicans are so frustrating. Read the voters in each state individually!!!!!!
I’ve been telling anyone who would listen this since 2015/16.
The people who support Trump/MAGA and the Republican base overlap, but they are NOT The same.
MAGA/Trump is far larger, and includes lots and lots of people who will never support the establishment GOP in any sort of major way.
Those pushing the electability argument are flat out ignoramuses... No establishmentGOP candidate is going to draw the support that Trump/MAGA does... None.
IF Trump can’t win a national general election none of the other Republican’s can, period.
The establishment believes that those folks Trump brought to the party are going to support them, and they just aren’t. They also believe the nevertrump part of the party is greater than the folks Trump brought on board.. Both are absolute false assumptions.
Trump is up 7, 7 against Biden in the Rust Belt states right now... let that sink in... Trump is up 7 points in the Rust Belt states.. No establishment GOP candidate will win this region, not a single one of them.
PA sadly has done nothing to fix the fraud the GOPe LEGISLATURE allowed and was complicit in creating for 2020, WI sadly did as well, but has done things to clean it up since 2020... MI is a wildcard from the fraud perspective. So we will see how it goes, but Trump is the ONLY candidate in this cycle that has any shot at a national victory and those saying otherwise, are either fools, or liars.
The sad reality is the establishment GOP is utterly out of touch with the electorate. Hopelessly out of touch. They are controlled by money men who’s interests are utterly divergent from your own... Go watch the Tucker mini interviews from a month or so back with all the candidates and it is completely obvious they don’t care about you or what is important to you... not a one of them.
This is a textbook example of ideological purity.
Love that, too.....a real standout.
Also true. :(
“Trump’s support for someone in McConnell’s position is just politics in the framework of the American political system, good or bad, . . .”
Yet McConnell and Ryan often spoke against Trump and worked to thwart his agenda, violating the Reagan’s 11th commandment, “Thou shalt not speak ill of any fellow Republican.”
How many times in the last 3 years have Schumer, Pelosi, and Jeffries publicly and deliberately been highly critical of Biden’s personal behavior or policies? With McConnell during Trump’s presidency, public criticism was frequent as was backstabbing in the shadows.
More evidence the GOP leadership really doesn’t care if they win or lose?
What would have been the downside if Trump had not endorsed McConnell for reelection?
The downside is that McConnell would’ve been elected. Anyway, there is absolutely zero chance anyone else would’ve been elected, and Trump would’ve been handicap from the get go if he had won another term.
Thank you!
TFT material!
I hope the STORM that is about to wallop the Demonrats/RINOS drowns them all!
