Ugh. My MH space landlord decided to sue us all that were burned out to clean up his park and rebuild! FEMA did It for free, but he wanted it NOW. I kept reading that other park owners were helping their tenants. I fell to my knees when I read the letter from his lawyer.
I was paid months ahead on Spectrum, called to shut it off and get a refund. After an hour, they refused to shut off service because I couldn’t provide an account number and sent my account to collection.
Amerigas was another one. I rented their tank, they were responsible for all maintenance. Nope! They sued me.
I used to run a credit bureau, never had a late payment in my life. Never sued! It just crushed me when they all came after me while I was homeless. Finally, Lily Morgan, my state rep got them off my back and asked me to testify in a state hearing, which I did by mail because I was so ill. Medicare advantage refused to cover me outside my county.
That’s what many of these poor Hawaiians have to look forward to. People think you have insurance money and they want it!

As the Camp fire was burning I updated my fire bug out bag ,, birth cert...ss card ,, a power bill,, that kind of thing.
Igo fire was breathing down my areas neck ...
Fire bug out bags are always a good idea,, even in winter., never know when a structure fire could hit

Lily Morgan is great, I really like her. I’m in Grants Pass and she’s one of the shining stars here.
I’m curious about something, I’m getting ready to start Medicare Advantage and I never heard of them only covering people in one specific county!
