That's the best advice. If there's any information that will exonerate the defendant, present it at the trial. Disclosing it on TV is a publicity stunt. Why disclose it to the prosecution, before the trial begins?

If that legal trouble is a political persecution, maybe not. You’re not going to win such a case unless you can also win the political fight that is accompanying it, no matter how good your lawyers’ advice is.

You actually think a hand-picked Judge is going to let any evidence he has be admissible in a court of law? The Supreme Court wouldn't even hear any evidence of voter fraud, but you expect a County Judge to allow it? He's going to be found guilty whether he gives the press conference or not. Then he will appeal the decision.
