Newt Gingrich Issues Stark Warning on Trump Georgia Indictment (Video)

Historian and former Speaker of the House Newt Gingrich (R-GA) gave a stark assessment of the indictment of President Trump by Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis for challenging the 2020 presidential election in Georgia in an interview Monday night on the Fox News Channel show Hannity. Gingrich warned, “we are drifting towards the greatest Constitutional crisis since the 1850s, uh, and the rise of secession and the Civil War,”…that will “(establish) a moment of bitterness, which I think will last for a generation or more.”

Newt Gingrich: "We are drifting towards the greatest constitutional crisis since the 1850s," Trump's indictment is "a desperate last ditch effort by a corrupt machine to destroy their most dangerous opponent. in a way which… breaks the Constitution, destroys the rule of law." pic.twitter.com/I6TxjK6hUF

I was cringing going in, afraid of what tack he would take on
this.

He certainly won me over. Wow, this guy sees exactly what is
going on.

His resolution to it is exactly what the Republicans should
do, but the GOPe is in bed with the Democrats and has been
for a long long time.

Even in 1980, they hated Reagan. They did everything they
could to keep him from setting them back a decade. That’s
scares the hell out of them about Trump.

They want their global governance now, and they aren’t
going to take no for an answer.

Your last sentence tells the tale, sadly.
Lots of RINOs around today who are ‘just fine’ paving the way for Global governance. End apparently justifies means.

I have much respect for Newt, but then, I closely follow the news, and I have done so for decades. I’m not sure how much serious attention Newt receives these days. Similar to Pat Buchanan, someone else I used to hear often on the Sunday shows, back when I owned a TV.

How Serious Is Fulton County Fani’s Indictment of Trump, with her idiotic dependence on criminalizing tweets, phone calls, hotel reservations?

In 2017, a woman sued conservative actor, James Woods, for misidentifying her as a Nazi in an allegedly libelous tweet. The tweet included a photo not of her but of a different woman giving a Nazi salute while wearing a Donald Trump t-shirt at a campaign event.

The court ruled in favor of Woods under the “innocent construction rule.” She appealed, but the United States Court of Appeals for the Sixth Circuit upheld the ruling.

The “innocent construction rule” requires courts to consider a written or oral statement in context, giving the words, and their implications, their natural and obvious meaning.

If a statement may reasonably be interpreted innocently, it cannot be actionable per se. [Republic Tobacco Co. v. N. Atl. Trading Co., 381 F.3d 717, 726-727 (7th Cir. Ill. 2004)]

What Newt said is what I have been saying. And, I am concerned that these Marxist madmen (and madwomen), with their little concern for human life (abortion), will kill for expediency. For them, it will be just like a video game.

Another thing is the matter of Marxism. Marxism never works. When it doesn’t work they always blame the people and try to eliminate those they see as at fault. They never blame the Marxist system because those in power depend on it working for their material comforts. It will never work because it is an illusion.

Joe Biden outright lied while debating Trump his 2020 opponent.

From the debate transcript” “My son has not made money in terms of this thing.... what are you talking about, China. I have not had… the only guy who made money from China is this guy [pointing to Trump].”

Reality check.

The Bidens have pocketed even more graft from China.

The University of Pennsylvania was inundated with Chinese money once “The Biden Center” was established at Penn.

The wily U of Penn laundered the Chinese graft by paying the compromised Biden $999,000 a year...... calculatedly pegged at under a million so it does not have to be reported.

The U of Penn had so much Chinese money it was forced to give some of it away in an attempt to save Biden’s filthy ***.

The uneasy Penn up and gave local Pa schools $100 million........ to the surprise of local educators.

Joe showed his gratitude by giving a Penn official one of his coveted ambassador jobs.

U of Penn’s “The Biden Center” is also under investigation for not reporting millions it, too, got from China.

What other countries show promise? Does anyone speak English in Hungary or Poland? Is there decent infrustructure for remote jobs and healthcare if one gets sick?

I had a lot of respect for Newt, but for me he fell off
the turnip truck for a while there. I think he’s a mixed
bag any longer. This one he sure got right, from my
perspective.

He was very good in the mid-90s. He became speaker and
things went south for him.

Then he’d make some bad calls, amidst the good ones, so
it was a tough ride there for a while, again for me.
Others may see it different.

Thanks for your thoughts Lee. Appreciate the response.

The Stupid Party never brings this up. Time and time again, we have ammo against the democrats and we never use it. How about when Do we replay the video of Jane Fonda (Madonna) saying she wanted to blow up the White House? How about showing the photos of that female reporter holding up the severed head of Trump? This crap should be projected on giant screens in the House and the Senate. Instead we use high school flip charts.

We are a pathetic bunch of bumpkins without a clue as to how to fight and deliver a message.

Somebody needs to tell Newt the sad truth.

We ceased being a Constitutional Republic when Government got involved in politics and helps rig elections. What you see now are the actions of Fascism, and it’s to late to stop.
