Biden is requesting another $24 BILLION from Congress for Ukraine, after the record-breaking $113 BILLION they approved last year wasn't enough...
If they’re admitting it on CNN, then you know things must be bad. That’s very much the case for the state of NATO’s counter-offensive in Ukraine, as Western officials are being quoted saying that it’s “extremely unlikely” that Kiev will make enough progress in the coming weeks to “change the balance” of the war in their favor.
That’s as Congressman Mike Quigley told CNN that the briefings he witness in Europe with U.S. commanders are “sobering” calling this “the most difficult time of the war.”
So, one would think that if Ukraine didn’t have any hope of a victory on the battlefield, that maybe they would be considering peace talks right about now.
In that case, it would make sense that representatives from around 40 countries came together for talks in Saudi Arabia last weekend, aimed at ending the conflict in Ukraine. The only problem? Russia wasn’t invited. Yes, you heard that correctly.
But even in the current state, one of Zelensky’s top aids is still doubling down on the claim that there will be “NO COMPROMISE” with Russia—insisting that there must be a full withdrawal of Russian troops from all of the land Kiev claims as its own BEFORE peace talks even begin. (And yes, that includes Crimea, where 97% of the people there voted to return to Russia back in 2014.)
So, clearly Ukraine still has no intention of doing anything that may lead to a ceasefire, which makes the talks that were held in Saudi Arabia more or less pointless. But the reality is that those talks were never about finding a solution. At least, not as far Ukraine and its Western backers were concerned.
Their goal was to get access to the countries that have remained “neutral” in the conflict, and to get them on NATO’s side. That includes China, India and the host of the talks, Saudi Arabia.
In their official statement, Kiev said their goal in Saudi Arabia was to “develop a unified vision” of their peace formula and to “work out the possibilities of holding a future Global Peace Summit.”
But then Ukrainian officials were quoted saying that the nations involved “completely destroy the narrative of Russia” that Ukraine is only supported by “countries of the collective West.”
What they’re really saying there is that they wanted Russia to see that every other BRICS alliance member was represented at this meeting. They wanted Moscow to know that its fellow OPEC Plus member Saudi Arabia was hosting the event to begin with, and that Moscow was NOT invited.
So, why would those countries take part in an event that only involved Ukraine and not Russia – while saying they wanted to stay neutral, and of course, knowing that it could lead to tensions with Russia, within their respective alliances?
Well, first and foremost, they know that their partnerships with Russia aren’t going anywhere, and simply being involved in talks with Ukraine, while maintaining a neutral status won’t change that.
Second, they know that Russia isn’t the one refusing peace talks here. President Putin has said since the beginning that he’s ready to talk. We saw that play out in the early weeks of the war last year, when Russia and Ukraine held talks in Istanbul, mediated by Turkey.
However, as this NPR report from March 29, 2022, noted, Russia vowed to reduce attacks in Ukraine after the talks. But the U.S. was skeptical.
Despite a draft peace agreement that was signed by both sides, which Putin revealed during talks with representatives from several African nations in June, everything fell apart, after former UK Prime Minister Boris Johnson made that infamous surprise visit to Kiev on April 9, 2022.
The result? There hasn’t been another round of direct peace talks between Russia and Ukraine since.
In fact, Zelensky went on to sign a decree in October 2022 making it illegal for Kiev to carry out talks with Putin, insisting that if there were going to be talks between Russia and Ukraine, then Russia would have to get a new leader first.
As much as the West would like that plan, other countries around the world that rely heavily on Russia’s natural resources, are trying not to provoke the wrath of the U.S. and it accusations of sanctions violations, and are just trying to avoid World War 3… are pushing for an end to the war.
That’s why we saw China present a 12-point proposal aimed at ending the fighting back in February, why we saw a delegation from seven African nations visit both Ukraine and Russia in June, and why Saudi Arabia hosted talks last weekend.
Each one of those countries knows where Russia stands, and they know where Ukraine, or more specifically, NATO stands on the topic of peace talks. But they also know that it isn’t a matter of just getting Kiev’s consent to pursue a ceasefire and eventually a resolution to this war. It’s about getting Washington’s consent.
And when it comes to the U.S. establishment, they’re doing very well for themselves, as the latest numbers show that last year, “America’s top five weapons contractors made $196 BILLION in military-related revenue.” Lockheed Martin took the top spot with $63 BILLION, while Raytheon came in second at around $40 BILLION in revenue.
And yes, while even CNN is now admitting that the majority of Americans oppose Congress authorizing additional aid for Ukraine… the will of the American people hasn’t stopped the Biden administration before, and it does not appear to be stopping them now.
In fact, no matter how low Joe Biden’s approval rating gets, he still keeps authorizing as much lethal aid for Ukraine as he can get away with—as a reminder to the world that his favorite nation to launder money in, is still his top priority.
While Biden is shamelessly signing blank checks, the dozens of countries that took part in last weekend’s talks are now watching Zelensky’s adviser as he runs his mouth and brags that Kiev will never compromise, as officials are quoted saying that this meeting was just about making Russia question the loyalty of the countries it is aligned with.
That lesson of how the Western propaganda machine twists and manipulates to fit its chosen narrative is one that should not be forgotten easily, because if there’s anything the U.S. establishment has made clear, it’s that they have no plans to end this war anytime soon—and that’s something everyone should be talking about.
Why not just go for $24 trillion?
Wondering how many of these dollars are stolen by our government and or others long before any thing gets there.
Maybe they should ask NY residents if they would rather this money go to Ukraine or build the wall here. I don’t think the DEMs want the answer to that. Or maybe they don’t care what people think these days.
The Big Guy (Pedo-Joe) needs to keep the money flowing to keep the Ukrainians from releasing the evidence
about his and Hunter’s influence peddling and the millions he got for selling out America.

😁👍
I have said, this war will end only when Biden says it is time to stop.
Turtle is a dip stick. The uniparty.
$24,000,000,000
You could buy a lot of fire engines for Hawaii with that kind of money.
Alex Christoforou of the Duran is right when he says that everyday we become more like Ukraine and Ukraine becomes more like us, in all the worst ways.
Ukraine doesn’t need more American money. It need American bodies. Let’s start with 20,000.
There is no scenario where we should be sending Americans to die in Ukraine.
And when you ask ‘em, “How much should we give?”
Ooh, they only answer, “More, more, more, more”
Don’t worry, it’s only $75 for every man, woman and child in this country.
our despicable government and garbage ruling class is enslaving us with debt so they can have their skim of 10%.
