As a member of the deep state and a Rino, it would not surprise me at all if Barr assisted Jack Smith.
The DC corruption silo operations explanation is quite interesting idea and I’ll contemplate and apply it some more.
I word searched the article as presented and did not see a Barr statement that he refuses to say whether he assisted demonkkrap fanatic, Trump hater Jack-o## Smith. Maybe Barr’s statement is somewhere else, not here - and I would be surprised if the new media darling would even be asked that question - as none have asked him why no action was taken on the FJB laptop when he was taking up space as US AG.

it’s pretty interesting how the storyline sort of resembles the DC corruption.

Barr's best defense would be he knew nothing about Hunter's activities or the laptop. This may even be true, but that is only because he was and continues to be willfully ignorant about they way the DOJ assists Democrats.
Basically any AG worth his salt should have had heads rolling in both main Justice and the FBI as soon as that laptop was revealed as at a minimum it had proof of drug use and possession, lying on multiple federal forms, supporting evidence of tax fraud, and rumors swirled about kiddie porn (do not expect to see proof of this charge in public). Hunter should have been in prison before June of 2020, as the FBI had the laptop by October of 2019.
Judas Barr will find that even the people who paid him his 30 pieces of silver really despise him.
That’s the same as asking if Barr finished the half-eaten burger I left on my plate while I went to answer a phone call…
