On Thursday, 2024 GOP Presidential Candidate Vivek Ramaswamy announced his intentions to file a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request against the Biden Department of Justice (DOJ). He made this announcement outside the courthouse where former President Donald Trump is set to be arraigned later today.
Ramaswamy’s Twitter statement on Thursday was impassioned and clear:
“The reason the people don’t trust the government is that the government doesn’t trust the people. I’m here at the courthouse where Trump will be arraigned later today & I’m making a demand to our government: tell us the truth about what’s really driving this flurry of prosecutions, with trial dates set during the height of the upcoming election.”
He further explained why he sued the DOJ earlier this week and pledged to release the state action files about what the government tells tech companies to suppress, emphasizing the right of the people to handle the truth.

This request seek to uncover what White House officials, including Joe Biden, communicated to Attorney General Merrick Garland and DOJ official Jack Smith regarding the indictments in the high-profile cases of former U.S. President and one of Biden’s 2024 Presidential election rivals, Donald J. Trump.
“Earlier this week, I sued the US Department of Justice, and I further filed an additional FOIA request to understand what President Biden told Jack Smith, what Merrick Garland told Jack Smith because we want the truth today. I’m in front of the courthouse in Washington, D.C., where the 45th President of the United States, my competitor in this race, will be arraigned later today.”
He expressed his deep concern over “the noble lie” that the government is telling to its people and questioned the timing of three supposedly independent indictments during an election period.

I have been impressed with Vivek Ramaswampy. I don’t think he’s ready for the Presidency, but I surely hope we hear more of him in the years to come. I am really tired lately of hearing my fellow Freepers tear the candidates apart so much. There are a couple that I truly detest, but I choose to keep quiet about them. My right and my opinion.
I believe that he is a possible future president after this election. I look at flak he is getting and at the dirty tricks used to frame Him in everyone’s mind. I see a candate that is scarring the right secretive powerful interests. I hope to see him as an option in 2028. if elected one more time Trump has just the 4 more years and then we need to look for a future leader.

Now that our nation has sunk to banana republic status, we can see how corrupt politicians on both sides of the aisle are.
If our Republican Representatives, Senators, and Governors were 1/2 as concerned about our nation as they claim to be then there would be an endless stream of press conferences, committee hearings, budget cutoffs, and impeachment hearings all centered about the weaponization of the government against the political opposition.
If making what may have been false statements about the election is somehow a crime, then willingly lying about President Trumps supposed relationships to Russia and spending 40 million US taxpayer dollars on a fraudulent investigation should also be many, many crimes with multiple conspirators involved.
Where are the other Republican elected officials today? Even sensible Democrats should be standing up for our nation, and the rule of law. They must know that someday it will be another political party who has power and they will be the persecuted ones then.

Think you can leave your fanboy status aside long enough to understand that Donald Trump is being persecuted and hounded to an unprecedented level by a bunch of juvenile Leftists absolutely petrified about what Trump (or any President not in their “club”) will uncover if he gets back in the Oval Office?
It doesn’t matter how you feel about Donald Trump as a person. What it comes down to is, are you with the Americans who want to save this country, or the radical Socialists who are destroying it daily?
