One national station was pushing the narrative last night that the tickets are being purchased in bulk but theaters are empty. Anything to discredit the movie.

I see Mexico on the list. Since Carlos Slims son helped finance the movie, looks like that corrupt, cartel friendly and Hunter/Joe Biden friendly oligarch is going to get even richer from the movie so he can facilitate more human trafficking!

Something just not right with all this.

Went and saw it this week.

The theater was packed, no empty seats. No talking and minimum moving around. Between the last of the movie and the special message there was some low voiced murmuring that went silent once Caviezel began talking.

When it was over people filed out quietly.

DH asked me what was my first impression and I said that I had never been to a movie that felt so much like a church service.

Not that the movie was preachy or that they talked about God. He was mentioned almost in passing. But you left with a sense that there was something bigger that you had been a part of. Something that would leave with you.

DH thought that it was too hopeful and upbeat with the finding of both the children.

Last thoughts, a lot of the movie is CCed in English while the dialog is in Spanish. Who ever wrote the Spanish dialog was a native speaker and probably from South America. It had the right flavor. The English translation gave you what they meant rather then what they said.

The movie set needed a bit of roughing up, no litter in the streets and no flying insects.

I don’t know if anyone noticed but the media only talks about Oppenheimer, Barbie and MI 7 but no word about the Sound of Freedom.

Allegedly

ALLEGEDLY

The FACT that this movie was made to rescue children is enough to PROMOTE it……
…..and not suggest it is unworthy

“ Go see this movie!”

Yes, go see it! I’ve seen it 2X, I saw it by myself the first time. I drug some guys from church to see it the second time.

I never suggested it was unworthy. You know better than to put words in my mouth! I’ve been promoting the movie since it was heard of.

This place is getting like dealing with democrats.. you’re no longer allowed to question anything???!

It is not ALLEGEDLY! Ballard admitted on tape that the Slim family helped finance it! Now if that all sounds good to you, that’s your problem!

On the contrary, the screening I was at had more people than I’ve seen in a theater for a long, long time.

I don’t doubt it. I blew off the segment as a media hit job.

The line of discredits is long. I was told it was a tear jerker because the young girl who was abducted was killed. I went thru the whole movie waiting for this to happen, and it didn’t because it was a lie. This is a great movie, it is great to see even Democrat outlets finally giving it due credit.
