Trump Attorney John Lauro to FOX News: “We Will Re-litigate *Every Single Issue* in the 2020 Election”

The indictment of President Trump yesterday by Special Prosecutor Jack Smith in Washington D.C. revolves heavily around the unproven assertion that the 2020 Election was legitimate, free from fraud and that President Trump “knowingly” asserted “baseless claims” of election fraud.

President Trump’s team was constricted immensely by a ridiculously narrow window of just a few weeks to compile data from an obfuscated election system that was bolstered by unprecedented COVID-19 mail-in balloting rules put in place. It was reminiscent of the Wild, Wild West. And still, cases were brought, and quickly dismissed, typically using procedural justifications such as “standing” or “laches” before any evidentiary hearings or discovery was permitted.

The Gateway Pundit has documented numerous examples of unresolved issues and concerns from USPS employees appearing to stuff piles of ballots into drop boxes in Michigan, to two 4am deliveries in the backdoor of the TCF Center in Detroit, more than 20,000 ballots delivered after the deadline in Maricopa County, the mysterious disappearance of Jesse Morgan’s USPS trailer that he claims contained around 250,000 filled out mail-in ballots transported from NJ to PA, and “erroneous code” being found on almost every Georgia county who’s system log files were analyzed. And that’s a few examples with many, many more documented.

Now, given the wording and accusations levied in the indictment against President Trump, one of his attorneys, John Lauro, weighed on FOX News with Brett Baier:

“a distraction to keep Trump voters fighting the wrong issues.” —— ??? since when is fair and free elections a distraction or a wrong issue? or perhaps you didn’t keep up with the many hijinks used to turn 2020 election. you might start with just reading up on Maricopa County alone.

Will she allow total discovery because we all know Jack Smith and his goons will try to block them from presenting election fraud to the jurors.

They should challenge the judge based on her own work history.

The judge overseeing President Trump's case for questioning the 2020 election worked for David Boies, the lawyer that represented Al Gore as he questioned the 2000 election in Florida!

Lauro should ask the judge of Mr. Boies was restricted from presenting evidence during his defense of Al Gore's beliefs in 2020? Of course, that was in a Florida courtroom and not a federal one.

I think the call to litigate 2020 is a just a distraction to keep Trump voters fighting the wrong issues.

Consider that this isn't about actually "litigating" the 2020 election.

I think that what Lauro is saying that in order for President Trump to present a defense that he actually believed that he won the election and it was stolen from him (his 1st amendment right to speak out), then they have to show the evidence of WHY Trump believed what he did.

They have to show the reports of:

• states stopping counting simultaneously;
• the "burst pipe" in Fulton County that enabled the counters to send observers home;
• the suitcases of ballots being pulled out from under tables;
• the simultaneous jump in Biden votes in the middle of the night in multiple states;
• the nearly 90% turnout in Wisconsin
• the lack of signature verification in Pennsylvania;
• the sudden changing of deadlines to receive absentee ballots by some judges in Pennsylvania and elsewhere;
• the lack of matching absentee ballot requests that match to absentee ballots that were counted;
• and on and on and on...

All of these things would add up to a general belief that, state by state, coordinated shenanigans were in place to tilt the vote just enough to cause the state to go for Biden.

The defense will have to "relitigate" these things in order to present a pattern of facts that led President Trump to the good-faith conclusion that he reached, and that his speaking out against it was protected speech and a petition to the government for a redress of grievances.

While you are litigating everything, to try and make right, they are corraling the population under their control.
