There’s a new charge of weaponization of the government against the Biden team.
This one is going back some ways and it’s from Bill Stevenson, Jill Biden’s first husband. Stevenson was married to Jill between 1970-1975, including while she was still in college.
Stevenson had already thrown a big wrench in the story that Joe and Jill tell of how they met. Joe claims that they met on a blind date. But Stevenson said that they all met when Joe’s first wife, Neilia, was still alive and Bill and Jill supported Joe in his first run for political office, long before the alleged “blind date.” He also indicated that he believed something was going on between Joe and Jill while he was still married to her.
But now he’s just dropped a big charge — he said he believes that Joe Biden sicced the IRS on him. He said he was threatened over a house — that he won everything regarding the divorce battle, but then they appealed and sued him over one of the houses.

“Frankie Biden of the Biden crime family comes up to me and he goes, ‘Give her the house or you’re going to have serious problems,’” Bill Stevenson told Newsmax’s Greg Kelly Wednesday night of the moment President Biden’s brother Frank allegedly approached him when he and Jill divorced in the mid-1970s.
“I looked at Frankie and I said, ‘Are you threatening me?’ and needless to say, about two months later, my brother and I were indicted for that tax charge for $8,200.” [….]
“[I] could not believe the power of Joe Biden and the Department of Justice. I couldn’t believe it,” he lamented to Kelly.
He claimed that the IRS went after him and his brother, who owned a bar called the Stone Balloon, for failure to pay taxes for the first quarter of 1982 — for which he was charged in April of 1982. As Newsmax’s Greg Kelly exclaims, that’s more than a little odd in that I don’t think the government ever works that fast on anything — the first quarter had just ended by April.
Stevenson said that they continued to come after him over the years, although he didn’t explain that statement further.
Kelly and Stevenson noted the irony of him being pursued for a tax case while Hunter Biden was supposed to get a sweetheart deal over his tax issues. I reported on the details of the plea agreement and the diversion agreement earlier. While Stevenson appears to have been charged in unheard-of time, Hunter wasn’t charged for years.
But Stevenson said he was coming forward now because he was upset they were weaponizing the government against former President Donald Trump.
“I can’t let them do this to a president that I love and respect. I can’t let them do this to our country,” he added of Donald Trump, who lost to Biden in the 2020 election and will potentially challenge him again in 2024.
“This is why I’ve come forward. This is the only reason I’ve come forward. It’s like I said, nothing about the divorce, no bitterness, but Jimmy, Frankie, and President Biden are very dangerous, and it’s tragic. I can’t let them do what they did to me to President Trump. I can’t do it.”
Stevenson said with Hunter’s plea deal falling apart, he believed the tide was now turning against the Bidens, and the truth was coming out.
