Excellent point. And yes, the desire for ‘power’ in politics brings out the very worst in human nature. Worked in it all my life, and seen it all to frequently. Even marginally normal people get too big for their britches, but it is baked in with leftists.
Totally agree. My wife says the same thing about ladies' clubs, because this phenomenon plays about as tempests in both teacups and across whole "battlefield" oceans.
I think the observation that "it is baked in with leftists" particularly apt, with "do as I say, not as I do" splayed across all the talking heads.
