There is no chance way the Ukrainian people would vote for Zelensky to continue it. That why he is cancelling upcoming elections.
War is good for business until it isn’t. This could get bad really fast. The whole Neo-Con effort is based on two assumptions: 1) Russia will not go Nuke and stay conventional. and 2) China will stay neural and not openly support Russia.
If those assumptions change they can only hope for a UN sponsored peace treaty. We can not fight China at this time—we are too dependent upon them. What if they send a Million Man army to fight in Ukraine in support of Putin? What happens if Russia uses a small Nuke to blow up the Kiev airport? Do we attack Russia and end the world? What if the Ukraine blows up a Nuke Plant in Russia? So many things can (and will) happen.
A draft is evil. If you cannot get enough support for your war. That says something about your cause.
