EXC: DeSantis’s Iranian Donors Bankrolled Pelosi, Bashed Trump, & Backed Obama/Biden’s Iran Nuclear Deal
The National Pulse ^ | 07/03/2023 | JACK MONTGOMERY

Posted on 07/03/2023 11:38:22 AM PDT by SoConPubbie

Major benefactors to Florida Governor Ron DeSantis – Morteza ‘Mori’ Hosseini and his wife Forough – have donated tens of thousands of dollars to a political action committee (PAC) funding the Democratic Party leaders, including former House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, and the lead impeachment manager against former President Donald J. Trump, Jamie Raskin.

Hosseini’s donations to the Iranian American Political Action Committee – Public Affairs Alliance of Iranian Americans (PAAIA) span from 2004 to 2011, under his name, as well as aliases “Morteza Hosseini Kargar”, and “Morteza Hosseini-Kargar“. During the same period, the PAAIA PAC funded various Democrat groups, including Friends of Hillary (Clinton) and Friends of (Anthony) Weiner.

To the extent the group has given money to Republicans, the sums appear far smaller, and the donations have ended up in the pockets of groups supporting former Republican leader Paul Ryan, neoconservative Dan Crenshaw, and Never Trumper Ben Sasse.

Far and away, the group – which brags of its work with globalist, D.C. think tanks – donates mostly to Democrats including massive sums of cash to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC).

PAAIA itself appears to have been openly critical of Trump’s travel ban, as well as slamming the 45th President for ending the Iran deal (the JCPOA) which enriched Iran’s Islamist regime under the false pretense of slowing nuclear weapons development in the nation.

And Hosseini’s association with the PAC did not end in 2011, when his name disappeared from the donations list. Instead, his wife Forough, recently appointed by DeSantis to the Florida Children and Youth Cabinet in 2019, currently serves as the Board Chair of PAAIA, and remains a contemporaneous donor.

Hosseini often lets Governor DeSantis and his wife use his private jet, and was brought to the attention of The National Pulse by DeSantis staffer Christina Pushaw and Jeremy Redfern, after the pair publicly panicked about a report into a $92 million COVID cash dump from DeSantis that aid Hosseini’s property developments.

Pushaw has gone so far as to dispute accurate descriptions of Hosseini as “Iranian”, complaining that “by ‘Iranian,’ they mean an American citizen, of Iranian heritage.” Hosseini’s own biography boasts of his Iranian birth, and he has been featured on websites such as ‘IamIranian.com’ since 2011.

So what? DeSantis has a great track record on the issues that that appeal to conservatives. Of course no candidate for office is going to have it all. DeSantis is weak on Ukraine; but Trump is weak on Disney and LGBT.

The chairman of the University of Florida board of trustees served as a liaison with the office of Gov. Ron DeSantis when administrators were considering temporarily moving some college classes online due to the pandemic, according to text messages.
Morteza “Mori” Hosseini, who was elected chairman in 2018, is already under scrutiny over questions about his role in politically tinged decisions affecting the school.
The newly disclosed texts showed the chairman communicating with the university’s president, Kent Fuchs, the evening of Aug. 13 — as the delta variant was sweeping the U.S. They were discussing reports surfacing that at least some colleges on the main campus were preparing to move all their classes online for the first three weeks of the fall semester, which ends this week.

Yeah, the Trump chumps will push any bullshit they can!

So, when DeSantis receives money from former Democrats, it’s proof that he can’t be trusted as a conservative. But Donald Trump’s chumps don’t like to mention that Donald Trump received billions of dollars from a major donor and personal friend of Bill Clinton’s... named Donald Trump.

B..b..b..but he’s Iranian! He has to be evil! Yeah, well, he’s RICK SCOTT’S appointed head of the University of Florida, who has helped reign in the liberal extremes of academia in Florida.

Yes, that’s ultra-liberal public radio fretting that Hosseini may have helped DeSantis prevent the University of Florida from moving classes online. Clearly evil. (/sarc)

From the remarks on this thread, it seems that the Iranian is not perfect but has been moving the university in the right direction. Correct?

"So what? DeSantis has a great track record on the issues that that appeal to conservatives. Of course no candidate for office is going to have it all. DeSantis is weak on Ukraine;"

He's also weak on Communism, treason, and a coup that that overthrew the U.S. government, and installed a CCP puppet dictator.

I don't know how much money he's being paid to be a stooge for the globalists, but, is it worth it to betray everything this country stands for?

76 million+ voters had their votes erased by Communist operatives.

Trying to gaslight the public by going along with the outright lie that 2020 election was legitimate, is working for the Communists attempting to destroy this nation, and everything it stands for.

From the self-appointed FR DDS guy. Like he does many times each day. Just look at his (her? It?) posting history. We always learn later it’s BS, as usual.

Why he’s allowed to do this constantly to FR is beyond me. But it’s pure propaganda, daily, from the same guy. A paid dem campaign shill wouldn’t look,or do, any different.
