This is probably the most realistic and level-headed assessment of Wagner's brief revolt that I've read so far.

Phantasmagoria is a video game for those wondering what phantasmagorical is referring to.
Does anyone know if if there is any truth to Dotcom’s claim that the Agency got snookered to the tune of 6 million on this Prigozhin/Putin psyop?

Anyway, thanks for posting it, as well as, providing me with additional information regarding the word phantasmagoria. π
Ping of interest for a levelheaded analysis of Wagner’s revolt.
Thanks US007,
I think much of the Westerners getting so giddy was due to hoping for a repeat of the Soviet Collapse 30+ years ago, coupled with their abject hatred towards Putin and Russians in general, much like our attitude towards Japanese after Pearl Harbor (although, small detail, Japan actually attacked us).
What they didn’t realize was that Putin is one of the most popular leaders in world, and is FAR MORE POPULAR than any Western leader at this time (other than his ally, Orban of Hungary), mainly due to Putin benefiting from the so-called ‘sanctions’ while Europe collapses due to those same ‘sanctions’. The Soviet Government, on the other hand, was actually HATED by the people, who wanted nothing more to do with Communism (and thus the Soviet government was loved by today’s Putin haters).
And so, very quickly, the ‘insurrection’ wound up being another Jan 6th, although with a few more weapons, and like Jan 6th, quickly became a joke as to its threat level.
Thank you. This assessment was very well done and am in agreement.
