There is MUCH more to be written as the civil war in Moscow continues. Again this thread is NOT about WHAT they are doing but about WHO is funding the group.

The group operates beyond the law in Russia, where private military companies are officially forbidden. Because it operates in support of Russian interests, it receives equipment from the Russian Ministry of Defence (MoD) and uses MoD installations for training, the Wagner Group is said to be a de facto unit of the MoD or Russia’s military intelligence agency, the GRU. While the Wagner Group itself is not ideologically driven, various elements of Wagner have been linked to neo-Nazism and far-right extremism.
The enemies of the dreaded “Beethoven Group”. The worst of them is the “Bach Group”. Russians just don’t like dorky names like “The Crips” or “The Bloods”.

They are modern day hessians it would seem. The world has always had a good of humans that would fight any war for any group simply for a pay check, ob and for the joy they get from killing other humans.
I presume its leadership has been bought by the globalist/intel mafia.
Actually, the finances come from African adventures in the minerals and commodities sales, plus there are art least 2 Oligarchs that support him.
Speculation that US is behind him is just silly - worthy of tinfoil hats.
I would tend to avoid any “ analysis” of this question published now, or in recent days. As we know from Bakhmut and Prighozhin’s stream of consciousness warfront posts about lacking ammo and Wagner’s weaknesses ( I tweet therefore I am)….it was theater. And successfully incited the Ukes to avidly send in some of their better units ….to be ground up.
Especially suspect is analysis coming from any mainstream media, US or UK think tanks which imo are horribly tainted by their lemming adherence to groupthink about what the West wants to believe to support its agenda, not what has actually been happening
