I’m only 46, and I became a true Conservative in 2006. Since then I’ve been steadfastly American First, but recently realizing more and more that the left can wait us out. We allowed the marxist virus little by little, to the point that it is infiltrating everywhere. It has gone on for to long, there must be a reckoning against it.

Yep, agreed. I mentioned who pays the tariffs/duties because there are a lot of people saying "make China pay/China pays the tariffs"...the only way that China would "pay" is by reduced exports/sales due to tariffs. (not happening BTW current trade deficit $861 Billion). ($346 Billion with China the rest w/Mexico and other countries).

I forgot another possible effect of tariffs is bringing manufacturing back to the USA, but the issue is that the gap in labor rates/expenses is too great for normal tariffs to be effective in that endeavor...(Slave labor rates vs. $15+ min. and much more for union manufacturing jobs).
Both sides have been in on this. Long ago, the way this country has been heading, those in D.C. should be kicking over their podiums 24/7 in outrage over the tyranny and these weaponized government agencies that have become nothing but political hired guns, not to mention Biden clan taking millions in bribes...and now them trying to jail his opponent.

I can’t disagree with what you’ve said here. As for your question, I’ve stated before what I think about the GOP. Half of them are gutless wonders with a scant few that actually have the ballz to speak the truth and stand up against the left...and the other half are complicit.

As for McCarthy, he was spot-on. But his methods may have been misguided. He underestimated what he was up against re: the evil left (sound familiar?). The left marginalized him, their opponent, rather easily and they’ve been succeeding at same ever since.

You keep asking me that...and I’ve already answered you. When have Conservatives ever actually had power in the US government? The closest we came was when Newt put forth the Contract With America. Remember that? Remember how long ago that was? And of course Bubba Clinton and the Dimocrats took full credit for all the good that was done back then under a Conservative leaning congress. If the swamp was able to resist him so effectively last time, what is he going to do different this time?
He could not beat a brain dead candidate that never left his basement. One of his hand-picked Senate candidates could not beat a brain dead candidate who could not string together a coherent sentence, and another hand-picked candidate could not even win a red state where the GOP governor won reelection in a landslide.
Trump no longer has any coattails. He is no longer a threat to the swamp.
