The son of a Cephalonian innkeeper, Gerachi ran away to sea in 1660 and soon caught on with the English East India Company ships who plied the Mediterranean and all the Seven Seas. I was about to ask you if this was a story about an actual person? Then I googled it. I’m showing Constantine Phaulhon as that same greek adventurer.
This premise sounds so interesting to me, I just may have to buy a used book about him. He sounds vaguely like a Greek
