As far as I am concerned, we have been there from the moment we began sending them money and arms.

We are broke and getting broker, we are mortgaging our children’s (and likely our own) futures by sending them money we don’t have, that we are going to have to pay back with interest, in conflict we have zero strategic interest in to a country that is actively hostile to our values when we aren’t sending them money.
